General Information

Carrera y Carrera Canada items (luxury handcrafted jewellery) that are being offered on this Website are only available for delivery to addresses in Canada. Shipments outside of Canada are not available. All Carrera y Carrera Canada items are priced in Canadian dollars (CAD$). Credit card and Paypal payments are the only accepted methods of payment. All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time a client places an order, the client will be notified and the total amount of the order will be refunded immediately, using the original method of payment. Clients are encouraged to call and/or visit the Toronto boutique to avoid any confusion in terms of design, colour, sizing, weight, etc. of any item.

Delivery Times

An estimated delivery time will be provided to a client once the order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of the order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, Carrera y Carrera Canada will make every effort to fulfill  the order within 7-10 business days from the date the order is placed. Business day means Monday to Friday, with the exception of holidays. Please note that Carrera y Carrera Canada does not ship on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Date of delivery may vary due to the carrier’s shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Sales tax on all Carrera y Carrera Canada items is charged according to the province or territory to which the item is shipped. At the moment of the latest revision of this Delivery Policy, the sales taxes are as follow:

Shipping and Handling Charges To and From A Client

Order shipments are performed by FedEx Canada. Shipping and handling charges incurred when sending Carrera y Carrera Canada items to a client are complimentary. Shipping and handling charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by a client who will be responsible for any loss or damage to the item during shipment. Carrera y Carrera Canada does not guarantee that it will receive the returned item.


All items are placed in a Carrera y Carrera Canada box, bubble-wrapped, and placed in a branded box. A copy of the receipt, item tag, and a certificate of authenticity will be included in the package. Gift wrapping is available upon request and is complimentary. If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, Carrera y Carrera Canada should be contacted immediately.

Order Tracking

An order will be deemed to be accepted only if and when a shipping notice email is sent by Carrera y Carrera Canada to client’s email address. This shipping notice email constitutes Carrera y Carrera Canada’s acceptance of client’s order and forms a legally binding contract between client and Carerra y Carrrera Canada. After placing an order, a client will be contacted within an appropriate amount of time and provided with the order details, electronic receipt, and a tracking number. Another email will be sent upon delivery of the shipment to ensure client satisfaction. Carrera y Carrera Canada is considered to have delivered the goods under an internet sales contract if delivery was attempted but was refused by the client at the time that delivery was attempted, or if delivery was attempted but not made because no person was available to accept delivery for the client on the day for which reasonable notice was given to the client that the goods were available to be delivered.

Returns and Exchanges

There are no refunds on Carrera y Carrera Canada items. If the item received does not meet the client’s expectations, it should be sent back to the Toronto boutique within 10 days after delivery to be processed as a store credit. This can be applied towards any other Carrera y Carrera Canada item. All items must be returned in their original condition as at the time of purchase. If the item appears to be worn or damaged in any way, Carrera y Carrera Canada may reject the client’s store credit and/or exchange claim. A notice of cancellation may be expressed by a client in any way as long as it indicates the intention of the client to cancel the internet sales contract. The notice of cancellation may be given to Carrera y Carrera Canada by any means, including, but not limited to, personal service, registered mail, telephone, courier, and e-mail. Where the notice of cancellation is given other than by personal service, the notice of cancellation is deemed to be given when sent. A cancellation of an internet sales contract operates to cancel the contract as if the contract had never existed and operates to cancel any related consumer transaction, any guarantee given in respect of consideration payable under the contract, and any security given by the client or a guarantor in respect of consideration payable under the contract. If an internet sales contract is cancelled before Carrera y Carrera Canada shipped the purchase to the client, Carrera y Carrera Canada must, within 10 days from the date of cancellation, refund to the client all consideration paid by the client under the contract and any related client transaction paid to Carrera y Carrera Canada. If goods are delivered to a client under an internet sales contract that is cancelled, the consumer must, within 10 days from the date of cancellation or delivery of the goods, whichever is later, return the goods to Carrera y Carrera Canada unused and in the same condition in which they were delivered. The client may return the goods by any method that provides the client with confirmation of delivery to Carrera y Carrera Canada. Any breach of the client’s obligations is actionable by Carrera y Carrera Canada as a breach of statutory duty.

Defective Items

In case of receipt of a defective item, the client must contact Carrera y Carrera Canada’s Toronto boutique with details of the purchase, item, and the defect within 10 days after delivery. The the item that a client considers to be defective can be sent to Carrera y Carrera Canada Toronto boutique. Upon receipt of the returned item, it will be fully examined and the client will be notified via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether they are entitled to a replacement and shipping and handling expenses reimbursement as a result of the defect. If the client is entitled to a replacement, the item will be replaced as soon as possible and sent to the client in a way all Carrera y Carrera Canada shipments are being handled. If the client is not entitled to a replacement, the item will be considered to be returned for a store credit which can be applied towards any other Carrera y Carrera Canada item.
